PROJECTS
• Mini Project (Third Year):- Microcontroller based Intensity Based Traffic Light Controller.
 Software : - Programming is done in Embedded C using Keil μVision 3.
 Hardware : - Interfacing of 7seg LEDs and Ir Transceiver pair with AT89S52.
 Description : - A System is designed to lessen the unnecessary time wastage in the signal crossings. The system will consider approximate traffic on each side of the square and will autonomously change the Green Signal time with respect to it which will in turn save much travelling time of people.
• Main Project (Fourth Year):- AVR Microcontroller based Bridge Health Monitoring System.
 Software : - Programming is done in Embedded C using AVR STUDIO.
 Hardware : - Interfacing of LCD, 7 segment Displays with Microcontroller (and its internal module as) ADC, etc. The whole project was divided in two groups as, Sensor Nodes (containing Load Cell, Water Level Sensor and Accelerometer) and Server Station.
 Description : - A system is designed to get the different data from sensors as per the conditions on the bridge (such as Tilt in the bridge, excessive load on bridge, Water level below the bridge), Data collected by the sensors is taken using GSM the SMS (Containing Sensors Data) will be Sent on the Server station time to time . Using this data we can analyze bridge health/life. The Microcontroller used is ATMEGA16 (ATMEL Corp.).
